Monday Night at 7:30 pm

Teen Night is Monday nights at 7:30 for students ages 12-18. We provide transportation and a meal. Teen Night is a safe place where students can have fun, build relationships, and learn about God. We have various small groups and mentoring opportunities available. We encourage students to get connected to a small group when they come to Teen Night.

Teen Night

Teen Night is the name that covers all of our students ministry: youth group, small groups, retreats and trips, service, leadership, and mentoring.

Our mission is: Equipping Disciples To Lead.

To that end, our first goal and mission is to point students to Christ. We strive to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples and equipping those disciples with the tools and maturity needed to lead. This concept involves both the conversion to and integration within a Christ-centered life. In this way, evangelism and discipleship are the end goals of everything we do.

Prayer Based

Without God, we are useless. With God, we can see the impossible come to life. As we ourselves strive to be people of prayer, we encourage students to depend on God. Prayer is modeled for students and students are given safe places within the weekly structure of the ministry to pray.  Students are especially encouraged to pray for their friends who do not know Christ.

Relationally Driven

Life is lived in relationship. We make every effort build a warm, welcoming student ministry where teens feel they are safe and can belong, matter, have purpose, and feel loved as they learn from and are guided by mature, Christian adults.

We also make it a priority to help teens build strong relationships with one another, and to foster a deep sense of Christian community.

Lastly, we make it a priority to help students begin and grow in a relationship with Christ.

Christ Centered

The sole purpose of our youth ministry is to connect students to Christ. We must ask the question: “Does this bring students closer to Christ?” in everything we do. We work to imprint a Biblical group image (“we are following God together”). Students should feel as if they are part of a community of believers.

Theologically Grounded

Everything we do, teach, and model has a purpose that can be traced back to scripture. We must not only tell students how to follow God. We must also show them how to follow God by our lives, and give them space to imitate us in our ministry setting.

Culturally Relevant

We work hard to do things in a way that makes sense to those we are working with. Our ministry must strive to be attractive to students (fun, engaging) while presenting God’s word in a way that meets students where they are in a format they want to hear. We must take into consideration both the real and felt needs of our audience as we help them follow God in their unique setting.
